Shadow is a 4 year old Spaniel who is ready to find his new home! He came to us from a home where his needs were not being met which unfortunately manifested in undesirable behaviours. He has been thriving since living in his foster home where he receives plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and is given clear boundaries. He is looking for an active home preferably one where he can have a job utilizing his natural Spaniel instincts and/or has an owner with an outdoor job he can be taken along to. He would be happy living in an outdoor kennel or inside, but he must be given clear rules and boundaries indoors and not be coddled! He gets on well with other dogs and has lots of fun playing with his Frenchie foster sister Belle (also on the website) so would be happy living with other dogs. He likes people but would preferably not be homed with small children; teenagers or adults only.
