We have four beautiful Doberman X Great Danes looking for homes! They are siblings that were taken from an unlicensed breeder who did not care for them as well as they should have. They missed out on a lot in their lives as it is clear from their behavior that they haven’t seen much of the world.
Hugo is the most outgoing of the bunch and will need an active home to keep his energy levels managed. He is very bouncy and playful when he gets to know you and is a really fun dog to have as your new best friend.
They are all very nervous dogs, especially of strangers, so will each need homes that can give them the time and space to open up and will engage in training exercises to build up their confidence in different situations.
Before living with us they seemed to have rarely, if ever, been walked as none of them understood lead manners and were scared of passing cars and strangers. After being with us for a month they have all improved somewhat but will need continued training on all bases. They each have a variation degree of reactivity towards other dogs, this has also improved slightly but, again, will require further training in their new homes.
We are looking to re-home them separately so each dog can receive the full attention they deserve and have missed out on until now, also so their training can continue as efficiently as possible. They will need owners who are physically capable of managing large dogs and preferably have had similar large guarding breeds in the past as previous experience with these types of breeds will give a better understanding of their needs so they can be met fully!
We need homes with plenty of space for these giant pups especially in the garden. And owners who have plenty of time to spend with them and meet their breed specific and individual needs.
These lovely dogs will require work and full commitment to training plans BUT this should by no means put potential adopters off! This will only help to create a very solid bond between you and your new family member. All four pups are extremely sweet natured and are longing for love and a family of their own; they all truly deserve a fresh start so please get in contact with us ASAP if you think your home would be the perfect fit!
